Congratulations to all Cadets and Officers of NLCC Admiral Martin and RCSCC Admiral Budge for executing a very impressive Annual Ceremonial Review yesterday afternoon. Every year your demonstration of the skills you have learn through-out the year has earned you the praises of family, guests and invited dignitaries. This year you out did yourselves resulting in yesterday being one of the “Best” ACR’s on record here on the Saanich Peninsula. We are very proud of all of you!

To the Officers and Civilian Instructors of both Admiral Budge and Admiral Martin we cannot thank-you enough. Your commitment to our cadets, dedication to detail and demonstration of team work and camaraderie over this past year played a huge role in the success of the entire weekend and your cadets.

Bravo Zulu to you all.

As well, a HUGE THANK-YOU to the unsung heroes from the days leading up and over the weekend. I’m talking about the Cadet Mom’s and Dad’s and Branch Executive who rolled up their sleeves and helped out with planning the weekend, cleaning the halls and last minute running around. Your efforts helped to reduce the natural stress of the weekend and allowed both corps to focus on putting on a memorable demonstration of their skills and hard work.

And finally a very special thanks to Lesley Downs, Vera Young and Valerie Pumple who basically LIVED at the hall over the entire weekend arranging, preparing and serving all the meals for the Cadets and officers as well as coordinating the wonderful pot-luck social that was enjoyed by all the guests following the awards as well as Dave Justice for supplying and setting up the sound system and tackling all the last minute fixes.

You should all be very proud of your efforts and can’t wait to see what next year has in store!

Regards,

Brett Anderson, President
