CANADIAN COAST GUARD WORK EXPERIENCE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT EXPOSURE SEARCH AND RESCUE PILOT PROGRAM -

Dates: March 14th to 18th, inclusive, from 0800 hours to 1600 hours.

Clothing- the participants must have steel-toed boots in order to participate; they must wear comfortable, warm clothing in which they can move freely. Touque and gloves should be brought for warmth. (Flotation devices will be provided). Easy to eat lunch and snacks and water should be brought by the participants. A small backpack with lunch and snacks and water inside is needed.

Cadet uniforms are not worn as this is not a Cadet activity.

We require two Cadets from the VI Division, from grade 11 or 12 with seamanship skills and First Aid certification. They must have their Grade 10 Worksafe Training (they should all have this in school as it is part of the curriculum). They will be deployed from Victoria, so no accommodation is provided.
