Cadet Summer Training Applications 2017

Selections are announced late May to early June. If your cadet is not selected right away, they will be placed on a stand-by list and could be called at any time if there is an opening.
Selected cadets will receive movement orders (travel orders) that will identify when and where to catch the bus. Cadets must carry ONE piece of valid Government issued photo ID (BC ID or Passport) Or TWO pieces of valid Government issued non-photo ID (Care Card and birth certificate)
Cadets may have ONE piece of luggage not weighing more than 50 lbs, and ONE carry-on not weighing more than 21 lbs.
Trainees are housed in barrack-style accommodations; they should bring a lock to secure their personal belongings. Free laundry (or dhobey) is available and irons and ironing boards are provided.
If parents want to visit, or take your cadet off the base, The cadet must request time off on Sunday between 8:30 – 12:30. Time off must be arranged by the Friday before with their Divisional Officer.
Course cadets receive a Cadet Training Allowance of $60.00 per week.
A full kit list will be provided prior to departure in their Joining Instructions – this provides you all the necessary information you will need to know.
Applications are due to the Training or Operations Officer by 30 November 2016.

Late Applications may miss out on preferred courses! If you are not selected don’t fret, you are on the stand-by list and there is a very real chance that you will be called up at any time up until the day Summer Training begins.
