Welcome Back!

Post date: Sep 11, 2012 9:52:03 PM

We sincerely hope everybody had a safe and enjoyable summer and look forward to a fresh start to the new training year. Yesterday (Monday, 10 September) was our first official night back at the corps, and next week, we will kick off our own training program with the first night of training.

A very warm welcome is extended to the five new recruits that joined us last night. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your time with ADMIRAL BUDGE and can't wait to see how shiny your boots become over the next several weeks!

Notes for returning cadets:

1. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be verifying your personal contact information and updates to your training file. So, if you have moved, changed your phone number, or received any qualifications (ie: First Aid, SCUBA, Sailing, etc) over the summer, please bring this information with you so we can update your files.

2. If you have lost, damaged, or outgrown any uniform items, or traded - er, "lost" - any cap tallies and corps crests and other badges, please let us know next week! The sooner we are informed, the more quickly these items can be replaced.

3. The Annual Basic Health Questionnaire and Detailed Health Questionnaire forms will be issued out over the next couple of weeks. A few parents have already completed these, so thank you! For everybody else, these must be completed and returned to the corps by 31 October 2012. Failure to do so will prevent being allowed to participate in any cadet activities.

For all cadets (new and returning):

Information will be posted in due course about the upcoming sailing weekend at CFB Esquimalt.
